Winter has officially arrived, so let’s hope that the weather is kinder than the past few months. Our Club was very fortunate to escape the terrible flooding that affected so many. Other Clubs in the area were not so fortunate and suffered extensive damage.  This has prompted us to examine our insurance policy to ensure that we have adequate cover. Our claims for the damaged banner by the top gate and wrecked windbreaks on the southern ends were accepted. 

The Club champs have been recently held, details of which will be covered further in the newsletter.  Congratulations to all who took part.  The tennis was of a very high standard.  The sun (one day) shone and even the barbecued sausages tasted nice.  A big thanks to all who helped with the organising. Our AGM is being held on Sunday 18 June, at 3pm.  I encourage you all to come along to learn how your Club has fared over the last twelve months.  This will be preceded by a fun tournament and presentation of the trophies.
